Crypto is volatile and you can lose money
Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile and can move sharply in either direction, including to zero. Past performance of any asset, strategy or market cycle does not predict future results. Only engage with crypto markets using money you can afford to lose, and understand the specific risks of any asset or platform — including custody, smart contract and regulatory risk — before using it.
Data limitations
Our market data is aggregated from public exchange feeds and established data providers, cached for performance rather than streamed tick by tick. Figures on Coingsty can lag a live exchange screen and may occasionally be delayed, incomplete or wrong due to a provider outage or data issue. Our methodology page explains how each metric is defined; where we cannot verify a figure with confidence, we link to a live source instead of publishing a number we cannot stand behind.
The Wire Stamp is a freshness marker, not a signal
Every page carries a Wire Stamp showing when it was published and last checked. It exists so you know how current the information is. It is not, and should never be read as, an indication to buy, sell or hold anything, no matter how the timestamp is worded on a given page.
