Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Coingsty does not sell personal information. Here is what that means in practice and how to reach us with a privacy request.

By Editorial Team 3 min read Updated Aug 11, 2026

Some privacy laws, including California’s, give residents the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information and require sites to explain their practices clearly, even for sites that do not sell data. This page sets out where Coingsty stands and how to reach us if you want to exercise a related right.

We do not sell personal information

Coingsty does not sell your personal information to third parties in exchange for money. We do not operate a data business, and building a resale profile of visitors has never been part of how this site makes money; see our about page for how we actually fund the site — advertising, sponsorship and affiliate links, all of which are disclosed on their own pages.

What “sharing” can mean, and where it applies here

Some definitions of “sharing” under privacy law extend to cross-context advertising, such as certain advertising cookies that could be used to serve or measure ads across sites. Where advertising cookies are present on Coingsty, you can limit them through your cookie and browser controls; we do not otherwise share personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes, and we do not maintain a data-broker relationship with anyone.

How to exercise your rights

If you want to make a request related to the sale or sharing of your information, or any other privacy right described in our privacy policy, email editorial@coingsty.com or use our contact page with the details of your request. We do not currently operate a separate automated opt-out form; every request that reaches us through these channels is reviewed and handled directly by a person, not routed to a third-party processor.

Verifying a request

To protect your information from being disclosed or deleted by someone impersonating you, we may need to verify your identity or authority to make a request before acting on it, using information reasonably necessary for that purpose and nothing more.

No retaliation

We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right described here. Using this page should never cost you anything on the site.

Authorized agents

If you want someone else to submit a request on your behalf, they can contact us the same way, but we may still need to verify your identity directly before acting on the request, to make sure we are honoring the wishes of the actual person the information belongs to rather than a third party.

This page will not grow into something it is not

We are not going to dress this page up with a self-service dashboard or an automated opt-out flow we have not actually built, because that would be less honest than the plain process described above. If that changes as the site grows, we will update this page to describe the real mechanism rather than leaving old claims in place.

See our privacy policy for the full picture of what we collect and why, and our cookie policy for cookie-specific controls you can apply yourself, right now, without contacting us at all.
